Sublmnl, a Cabarrus County-based brand development and digital marketing studio, has officially launched a new website for the Historic Cabarrus Association. The project is part of a complete brand redevelopment.

The new site is a central piece of the organization’s broader rebrand. It gives the Historic Cabarrus Association one unified digital platform to support its mission: preserving and sharing Cabarrus County’s history.

Historical and cultural nonprofits need more than an informative website. They need to manage ticketed events, accept donations, and sell merchandise, often all within one platform.

Sublmnl started with site architecture development and a focused content strategy. We then mapped the site around how visitors, members, and donors each engage with the organization differently. A first-time visitor learning the county’s history has different needs than a longtime member registering for an event.

The new site integrates a dedicated donation and ticketing platform. As a result, the Association can manage event registration and fundraising directly through its website, without relying on separate outside tools.

Sublmnl also built a full e-commerce store. This supports gift shop and merchandise sales, an increasingly important revenue stream for the organization. Diversifying beyond grants and membership dues matters more than ever for nonprofits like this one.

The site connects directly to the Association’s CRM. This keeps member and donor information in one place, instead of scattered across disconnected tools.
Sublmnl also built the platform on a strong SEO foundation. In addition, Google Analytics reporting now gives the Association ongoing visibility into how people find and use the site. The project included original copywriting throughout, plus full domain and hosting setup.

In short: the Association received a complete, ready-to-launch platform.
